My Lake Side Story: Jewel Of Navi Mumbai (SEAWOODS LAKE)

Who said you can only enjoy the beaches or a sea or ocean or a river many times we have options like hanging out on a beach enjoying the beautiful sunset or enjoying the waves of the sea but what I need to ask you is whether the sea gives you silence, whether a sea or a beach provides you peace? let me know your answer and if you haven’t got any answer then I will say it’s in rare cases when you find a beautiful sea or a beach with peace.

As the quote states beautiful things, here, I am going to present such a place where the real meaning of beautiful things can be expressed and implied. Whether you believe me or not this place is total magic.

This place is “JEWEL OF NAVI MUMBAI” situated in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. Beautiful city with a beautiful lake called Seawoods Lake. And in this blog, I will present my Lake side story to you.

JEWEL OF NAVI MUMBAI

It’s been a while since I went to explore new places, enjoying new stories, and new views, and I am enjoying my current college life which started a month ago, meeting new people who have been really good friends and also are the reason I could visit and spent my time on such location. For me, it was a big surprise from my friend who knew I like such places and also like to travel and am ready to travel anytime.

On 23rd January, we were relieved by our internal papers being over the day before 23rd January, and as the lectures were canceled, my friend decided to surprise me by going to a place that my friend also haven’t visited. So you can feel me, guys?? what I was worried about jumping to such a surprise location which may or may not cause me disappointment…

But by appreciating that surprise given to me, I was also curious about the place, being an enthusiast and a curious person I tend to be attracted to visit such a location. Giving that thought we proceeded with our journey toward Navi Mumbai. It took us approximately 20 to 25 minutes to reach Nerul by train and in between, we came across exquisite sunrise which gave an aesthetic view to our eyes, I wished that the moment wouldn’t pass, the golden sun rays may stay quiet long on the clouds and the reflection falling on the water which made that water look shiny and precious.

As we reached our destination (Nerul), I was curious and asked the same question to myself every time I got when I try to go to a new place. Finally, we reached our destination where I saw the bold capital letters named “JEWEL OF NAVI MUMBAI”, it seem to me a garden. The massive flamingo statue was structured at the entrance. For a moment, I thought it was just a garden until I saw the board which mentioned Sea woods lake…

We got through the entrance and followed the big road, which for me it was a strange thing to notice a big road in the garden, every step was making me curious about the place but finally, it came to an end when I saw the vast passage where people were working out, meditating and the whole circle passage was soo silent even though there were a number of people, judging by their faces of every single person there, was soo calm, enjoying the fact that they are blessed to have that kind of place nearby.

We continued walking and came across this big diamond-shaped Sea woods lake, the lake was soo calm and steady that every reflection of the building and trees even the boats in it were visible without any kind of waves, and the lake's surroundings were covered with pleasing trees. We enjoyed walking through the adjoining road which covers every side of the lake. 

The surroundings were soo relaxing and refreshing, even the smell of the water was felt with the healing energy of nature, walking between the trees was like walking in the shelter which was creating a magical whisper of old trees… the boat which was steady on the surface of the lake making the lakeside view more adorable. 

Every step was making me happy, and at the same time as the Lakeside changes, it created new looks which were changing the perception of exploring this place. Every side view of the lake makes us see the new sides and new scenes, it was just like watching the painter's portraits designed to see every perception of the universe. 

As we were in the shallow of the beauty of the lake I noticed strange pink and white coated leaves I don't know the name of those trees or what they possess, but surely gave me a feeling of being in Tokyo in spring for a while…

Walking on the road with pink color coated leaves and trees sheltering above us sprinkling the pink and white leaves as the wind passed by making the road more colorful with the magical aura of nature…, imagined? That's what this place was about the magical appearance of spring season delight with chilly wind and sun raises passing through the leaves making you walk more comfortably and in the shelter of nature.

And in this site, we were able to sit on the bench enjoying the beautiful scenery bonding with my friend, laughing, share many secrets with each other…. maybe this was more about our friendship, this moment really made our bond more natural or colorful and this destination gave us the energy to bond to spend some time in peace by sitting by the lake and just have our moment, opening up few things in such a peace is the best way to relax your mind as well as your heart…

I guess… 

It doesn't matter where you're going… its who you have beside you

The beautiful thing was that me and my friend shared a bond with each other that has a beautiful reflection on the water.
